A fantastic hotel - you won't be disappointed!
The hotel is located in the historical center of Naestved and is within a few minute's walking time of the sights and restaurants. It is beautiful both inside and outside. The style is rustic, and it is furnished with antiques. We enjoyed using the spa with a hot tub. There is a heated swimming pool and a workout facility as well. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is second to none.

Enjoyable stay on a roadtrip through Denmark
We really liked the overall ambiance in the hotel, in a kind of old English style. The facilities (pool, lounge, parking, ...) were absolutely tremendous. We can certainly enjoy these of hotels, and I would recommend anyone to do so, while these hotels still exist, because they might be a dying breed (I hope not). The staff was helpfull enough, friendly, but also a bit to the point. The breakfast is plenty and pleasant (altough very crowdy, see negatives). There are a enough spot to charge your EV (Clever or Spirri App recommended).
We are in our early fifties and felt really young amongst other guests. The room was small and functional, and that's about it. We had no view at all. It smelled like... well a room. And we were glad to spend some time in the lounge because the room was not very cosy to sit in. And we took the bigger standard room, so I'm a bit curious how the standard-standard-room looks like? The citycenter of Naestved is a bit vivid, but the region at large really not much. You want to visit this hotel as a starting base to visit other parts of Denmark (a bit farther away), or as a passer-by (bike holiday e.g.). This is no region to stay for the week imho. The diner in the restaurant was very nice, the staff was really doing their best, but also the diner is a bit overpriced for what we got imho, so we only had diner once. The breakfast was very very crowdy (end of July), and given the average age of guests you also have to be very very patient to eventually get you plate filled and start to eat.
